Superlight Offset Rocks

The DMM Brass Offsets are a crucial tool for protecting small flared cracks, they often fit perfectly into spaces nothing else will fit into. The brass used for the head of the nut is soft enough to bite into placements, but hard enough to resist deforming and pulling through. Wires are soldered directly into the nut head, allowing a thicker wire to be used and increasing overall strength. The colour coded swage gives easy size selection and allows the Brass Offset to self equalise when loaded, making the most of marginal placements.

The DMM Offset Nuts are made with anodised alloy and are available individually as a size 7-11 set. These are bigger and more rounded than their brass brothers. Based on the famed HB design this anodised alloy offset set gets you placement where no other nut can because of their complex offset shape. Especially useful on granite cracks and colour coded for easy selection off the harness.

The DMM Peenut are small offset nuts (available individually or as a 1 to 5 set) are specifically designed for flared cracks and shallow placements, but seem to fit everywhere. Found to be particularly effective on Cornish Granite. Now colour-coded for quick identification.

The DMM Torque Nuts are designed to work in a similar fashion to Rockcentrics meaning they can be placed passively at a constriction or cammed into place in parallel cracks thanks to their offset edges. Additionally they are racked on extendable dyneema allowing the nuts to be neatly stowed on your harness and then extended when placed, eliminating then need for extra quickdraws. Four sizes are available covering a very wide range of large cracks.

The DMM Wallnut Set is the backbone of every trad pack and an essential in building a comprehensive rack. Complemented by other, more specialised pieces of protection, they are guaranteed to be the most regularly used piece of protection on your harness. Wallnuts are highly featured pieces of climbing hardware. Different alloy is used for each size - smaller Wallnuts are made from a harder alloy to prevent shearing, while larger sizes are softer so they can bite into placements. Larger Wallnuts feature hollow construction to reduce weight.
