Open Canoeing

The Venture End Deck is available in two sizes and they are sold as single units. The one size fits models Venture Canoes such as the ranger, while the second size of deck plate fits other models in their range such as the Venture Prospector. They are easy to fit and are easily secured on with rivets.

The Venture Ranger 149 Cruiser CL is an open canoe that comes in at 14'7" long, making it ideal for newcomers to the world of paddle sport. It has a 350kg carrying capacity, so enough space for two paddlers plus all the kit you need for extended day trips on the water. The Ranger 149 has a premier plastic Corelite construction which provides enhanced levels of stiffness and abrasion resistance. The mid section has a 3-layer construction that tapers to two layers at the ends for added durability. Comes fitted as standard with Vinyl gunwales, plastic end decks, two seats and a central carrying yoke.

The Silverbirch Canoes Standard Yoke comes available in a single size of 39" wide. It will fit most Canadian Canoes such as the Broadland 16 and features an ash construction. It comes uncut and undrilled, making it highly versatile as you can easily cut it down and drill it to suit the make and model of open canoe.

The Mad River Rotamoulded Deck Plate has been constructed from a heavy-duty polyethylene, this deck plate is intended as a replacement part for Mad River Canoes.
